nine ways of transportation

3.000 THB

In Bangkok there are about 16 different ways of transportation - there is an express bus, TukTuks, the skytrain, motorcycle taxis and many others. We will take you on 9 of them while travelling through the city. We will explain all the different systems and how to use them.

What to expect

Bangkok and its metropolitan area host about 15 million people. Every day most of them have to travel for and back from work. Although there are more than 16 public transport modes, the streets are still overloaded by cars. Among the different transportations you will find such exotic possibilities like a Klong boat, Tuk Tuk or in these days rarely seen cycle rickshaws.

The BTS (sky train) carries 700,000 passengers per da, although not everybody can afford it. It might be chaeaper to take a taxi when you are going with two or three people. Regarding the immense traffic jams in the city it can be much smarter to take the BTS. So you always have to weight well, which mode of transport you choose in Bangkok - depending on the destination, the number of people and the time of day (rush hour).

On our little round trip through Bangkok we will be using nine different modes of transportation and explain you the systems. You will see a lot of the city, do something for your karma and learn a lot about this vibrant metropolis.
